As the CEO of a technology firm, it's only natural that I would use the Internet to research solutions to even the most mundane problems life throws at me. One such problem was the size of my wallet. For years, I carried a tri-fold that served to carry to my identification, credit cards, and other miscellaneous items. Since founding CentreSource, my wallet has also become a precious repository for receipts for business related items. Needless to say, the girth of my wallet grew to 'epic proportions' - and the man-ritual of cleaning it out became a monthly event. But even at its most spic-and-span, my wallet was still large enough that it actually wore a hole in one of my pants... enough was enough. I had to find an alternative :) Enter the 'All-Ett'.

I pulled up my trusty Firefox browser, typed 'Thin Wallet' in my A9 Toolbar, and clicked on the first entry: All-Ett - World's thinnest wallet - billfold. Being the due diligent researcher I am, I systematically clicked through every link on the site - and I even watched the 5 minute video. By the end, I was hooked - I had to have one. It was near Christmas, so I put it on my list and waited anxiously for Santa to bring it!

On Christmas day, I trembled with excitement as I opened a very thin gift under the tree. With the wrapper gone, I opened the the clear bag and pulled the All-Ett out. I must say, I was unimpressed when I first held the All-Ett. Made of Spinnaker Material, the All-Ett 'crackled' when I opened & closed it - almost like it was made of paper. And that is exactly how it felt too - like a wallet made of paper. Needless to say, I thought I had been 'had'. Luckily, my Grandfather (an avid sailor) was there and assured me that Spinnaker material is very strong and to make a wallet out of it was very clever. I decided to give it a try.

I removed all the items from my Tri-Fold and started to place them in the All-Ett. It has an innovative 4x4 layout - and that gives you quick access to up to 8 cards. Keeping this in mind, I loaded it up with everything I had... including the receipts (which I placed in the deep pocket). The second pocket is 50% as deep and it is for your cash - it saves you from having to dig deep in your All-Ett to pull out a few bills. Clever, clever...

Once I had it loaded up, I was stunned. My old wallet, even with nothing in it, was still massive compared to my fully loaded All-Ett. I placed it in my back pocket and my wife was amazed that she couldn't even see the bulge! The last test would be 'sitting' on my All-Ett. It is much wider than my previous wallet, so I thought surely I'd notice a difference - BUT I DIDN'T! The 4x4 layout I mentioned gives it a neat little feature - it can actually flex to the shape of your rear!

I've had it for a full month now and I'm still amazed by it. In fact, I carry even more things in this wallet that I had in my last one - and it is still super thin. If you want a thin wallet, I highly recommend it.

Things to note: It is not good for carrying pictures, keys, or 'wallet ink-pens'. Also, it doesn't come in Brown. Lastly, it will make a 'crackle' noise if you flex it.
