In the fall, I had an idea for an informational website that would recognize corporations that fulfilled their duties to the communities that they served. I discussed this idea with Nick Holland, a college friend and CEO of centre{source}. He generously volunteered his company’s services to design a website. Even though centre{source} was providing me with an in-kind service, centre{source}’s professionalism, product quality and customer-oriented approach was at the highest level. I completed the online questionnaire and within a few days Misty Galyon, Director of Web Design , called me to clarify my objectives for my site. Being a volunteer-run not-for-profit event, Ellie’s Run for Africa was in need of a solution for not only reaching potential donors and attendees on the Web but also coordinating much of the behind-the-scenes work that makes an event like ours successful. centre{source}, with Chip taking the lead, provided that solution. Aware of our needs, they created a custom-built and easy-to-use website platform that helped our volunteers streamline the registration process and provide 24 hour access to internal documents. As a small liberal arts college in middle Tennessee, a warm and personal connection to both current and prospective students is very important. However, the Martin Methodist College website was outdated, disorganized, and uninviting: a challenge that centre{source} was eager to tackle. centre{source} was hired to help accurately reflect the vibrant nature of the college through a colorful, easy to use website that could change and grow with the vision of the college. Through the partnerships of the Martin Methodist committees and the centre{source} team, the goals outlines for this project were indeed met. The site was very easy to build upon.
